Job Summary
A growing residential property developer in the North West is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their friendly team.As the first commercial / QS in the business you'll be working with the Construction Director and Development Team in order to help with budgets and costings for both future and current developments. Acting as the client's QS you'll be making sure the budget for the builds is realistic, helping to tender to contractors, and keeping track of things as both the new build and refurbishment projects progress. The role will be a mix of acting as both the client and Main Contractor depending on the works, so having experience as a Quantity Surveyor at a Main Contractor is needed.
You need to have experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial / Cost Manager already, ideally within residential projects but it's not necessary. You should also have experience at a main or sub contractor in your past as well.
