Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. As a QS, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by managing all aspects of cost estimation, financial control, and contract management for construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of projects within budgetary constraints while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.


  1. Cost Estimation: Conduct accurate and comprehensive cost estimations for construction projects, including material costs, labor expenses, equipment requirements, and overheads.

  2. Tender Documentation: Prepare detailed tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates based on project specifications and drawings.

  3. Contract Management: Administer and manage the contractual agreements with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

  4. Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identifying cost-saving opportunities, analyzing variations, and preparing regular cost reports and forecasts.

  5. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with the project and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project profitability and minimizing financial exposure.

  6. Final Account Settlement: Prepare and negotiate final accounts, including variations, claims, and disputes, ensuring timely settlement and closure of projects.


  • Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certification or membership in a recognized Quantity Surveying institution is desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong track record of successfully managing costs on construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost estimation techniques, measurement methods, and quantity takeoff procedures.
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software for cost estimation, project management, and quantity surveying (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Primavera).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
