Job Summary
Our client has been managing Student Accommodations across South Africa in key locations for the past few years and have shown incredible growth year-on-year. Up to now they have been managing with their current systems and procedures, but the rate at which they are expanding and their 5-year plan, which includes going international requires specific expertise. To this end, they are looking to employ a Regional Portfolio Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of student housing properties around Cape Town. This role will involve a wide range of responsibilities related to operations, financial performance and tenant satisfaction.Key performance indicators include, but are not limited to Property Management, Financial Management, Leasing and Marketing, Landlord Relations, Tenant Relations, Compliance and Regulations, Vendor and Contractor Management, Data and Reporting & Portfolio Growth and strategy.
To be successful in your application you would ideally have 5-7 years of relevant property related experience, hold a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, excellent financial and budgeting skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software, be extremely detail oriented and flexible in your approach. The ability to work under pressure and within an ever-changing environment along with strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills will secure.
