Due to growth and demands of their estate, our client is looking to appoint a Retail Operations Director / Retail Estates Director – Retail to oversee the; strategic, operational, and financial aspects of their retail malls along with other wider parts of their estate. This position includes leading a team and implementing retail strategies to ensure optimal performance, tenant satisfaction, and adherence to our company standards. The Associate Director will drive the implementation of innovative retail strategies, enhance customer experience, and ensure the financial success of the malls and car parks under their management.
The wider remit will also oversee; Operational Management, Financial Management, Tenant Relations, Customer Experience, Leadership & Team Development and Compliance & Risk Management.
You will develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the performance and value of malls and identify and pursue new business and commercial opportunities and partnerships to drive growth and sales.
In terms of Operational Management, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of all malls, car parks, and external retail units within the portfolio and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance by developing and overseeing the implementation of policies and initiatives across all retail operations.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing and managing annual serve charge budgets for retail malls and car parks ensuring alignment with financial targets. You’ll analyse financial reports to ensure profitability targets are met and implement cost control measures and develop new estimated service charge budgets for prospective new retailers.
You’ll provide strategic input to the Retail Leasing Team for lease negotiations, renewals, and terminations and work closely with the Retail leasing Team to ensure tenant mix aligns with the mall's strategic vision and consumer needs.
They offer an incredibly attractive benefits package along with £115,000 basic salary + Bonus
Successful candidates will need to be in the office 4 days a week.
