Job Summary
Looking to Step Out of the Shadows and Into a Role That Actually Matters? If you’re tired of ticking boxes, recycling old policies, and spending your days chasing signatures no one reads, this might be the role that changes things.
This newly created position sits at the intersection of risk, compliance and company governance. And it’s not an afterthought. It’s central to a growing, well-funded property group that’s actively building out its national portfolio. With new developments in motion and joint venture partners coming on board, the need for smart, structured oversight is growing fast. That’s where you come in.
You’ll have a blank canvas to work from. This isn’t about managing someone else’s outdated framework, it’s about designing something that works. You’ll oversee insurance, monitor risk, maintain statutory records, guide internal policy, and support the Board and Executive Team on all things governance. You’ll also keep an eye on shifting legislation and make sure the business is always one step ahead.
The environment is refreshingly flexible. The team is small, sharp, and fast moving. There’s no obsession with rigid hours or full time office presence. You’ll have the space to work independently, the trust to make decisions, and the support to scale your impact.
Ideally, you’re an admitted attorney, or someone with a strong legal background and governance mindset. You’ve spent a few years in a similar corporate or finance oriented space and you’re looking for your next move, not just in title, but in real responsibility. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, good at setting boundaries, and even better at helping others stay within them.
If you’re looking for a quiet corner to file paperwork, this won’t be a fit. But if you’re ready to bring order, foresight, and influence to a business that’s growing fast and thinking long term, this is the role. Let’s have a conversation.
