Job Summary

A global developer in mission critical facilities is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Security Manager to oversee the protection and safety of their data centre facilities in the Philippines.
 
As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of security measures, protocols, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their data centre operations. The Security Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to mitigate security risks and maintain a secure environment for our valuable assets.
 
Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Security Operations - Monitor and manage security systems, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarms, and fire detection systems.
  • Security Planning and Strategy - Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and execute a strategic security plan aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Emergency Response and Crisis Management - Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, incident management protocols, and business continuity plans.
  • Security Awareness and Training - Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
 
To be successful in this position, you must have proven experience in security management, preferably in a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
 
Other requirements include but are not limited to:
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional) will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, including access control, surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, and physical security measures.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data centre security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective security strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations and make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security.
