Job Summary
Our client is a dynamic quick service restaurant chain recognized as one of South Africa’s Top 10 fast food establishments. With 132 locations nationwide and plans to open an additional 10 restaurants before the end of the financial year, they are well-positioned for continued growth. Their offices are located in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and they are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager based in Johannesburg.Reporting to the Development Executive, this role will focus on overseeing construction, design, and development projects nationwide.
Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project programs, collaborating with main contractors, providing weekly project updates, managing risks, and preparing budgets. Additionally, you will be responsible for sourcing and appointing a team of professionals, preparing cost reports, conducting meetings with the design team, working with senior management on site acquisitions, ensuring compliance with council requirements, and overseeing and coordinating all phases of construction.
This role requires a tertiary qualification in the built environment, a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or project management, and a proven track record in all phases of project management. Additionally, you will need to possess experience in the fast-food industry. The candidate must reside in Johannesburg and possess expert knowledge of project management software, PROCSA, JBCC, and GCC.
