Title: Senior Property AccountantLocation: Dallas

Macdonald & Company is proudly partnered with one of our best clients, to appoint their next Senior Property Accountant, for two of their Retail/Office assets in Dallas, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash deposits and application to tenant accounts receivable including delinquent account collections.
- A/P and wire processing.
- Assisting on site Management team with Office/Administrative duties relating to shopping center management office while on site.
- Annual budget preparation.
- Review and knowledge of all tenant lease agreements.
- Maintain General Ledgers for property.
- Monthly tenant billings as per lease agreements.
- Monthly sales tax calculation and submission to authorities as applicable.
- Maintain petty cash funds if applicable.
- Monthly property financial package preparation.
- Monthly distribution calculation preparation.
- Assist Property Manager, Asset Management Department, Portfolio Department, and Investment Accounting on Special Projects, as requested.
- Monthly/Quarterly Portfolio Specific Reporting Requirements.
- Quarterly Allowance for Doubtful Accounts preparation.
- Quarterly report preparation and update.
- Annual expense recovery calculations and true ups.
- Providing tenants with quality treatment including responding to inquiries and complaints dealing with building issues, lease agreements, billing statements, rent collections, and collecting sales information.
- Assist the Property Manager with responding to tenant inquiries and complaints.
- Assist Property Management team to collect and track Tenant Certificates of Insurance.
- Providing and retaining accurate and timely property reporting and analyses per Client Investment Management Agreements and Regulatory requirements relative to assigned Client Portfolio(s).
- Annual year-end internal audit folder preparation.
- Must possess strong analytical, communication, organizational and computer skills.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial property accounting experience.
- MS Word & Excel (required).
