Job Summary
Macdonald & Company have been instructed by an rural business who are looking to appoint a Head of Property.This role is pivotal in overseeing the day-to-day management of tenants, ensuring compliance, and driving the conversion of agricultural properties to commercial use. The successful candidate will also work closely with the directors on new development projects and assist in property and land transactions.
Our client operates within the Northern Home Counties and have in excess of 100 tenants across their portfolio which comprises of mainly industrial and residential units. Their portfolio tends to generate over £2.25m in rent each year.
This is a great opportunity for a senior real estate professional that is experienced in reporting to internal stakeholders.
You will be tasked with managing a small team and responsible for everything from; tenant management, development projects, strategic planning & reporting along with a significant part of the role overseeing property and land transactions.
You’ll be well versed in land purchases, valuations, negotiations and liaising with legal teams & agents and oversee the management of all tenants, ensuring timely rent collection, lease renewals, and addressing any tenant queries or concerns.
The successful candidate must have:
Experience working with rural assets.
Must be RICS
Be commutable to Herts/ Beds and be in the office 5 days a week
Salary £65,000- £80,000.
