The firm has built a diversified portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets across key markets and continues to grow through both development and acquisitions. With an established track record and strong capital partnerships, the company maintains a vertically integrated platform spanning development, asset management, and property operations.
As the firm continues to expand its development pipeline and operating portfolio, the company is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee its financial reporting and accounting infrastructure.
The Position
The Senior Vice President of Accounting will lead the accounting function across the firm’s development and operating platform, overseeing financial reporting for a portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate assets.
Working closely with executive leadership, the SVP will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes that support the firm’s continued growth. This individual will also oversee the accounting team and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations across the firm’s real estate portfolio, including corporate, fund, and property-level accounting.
- Oversee preparation of financial statements and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across the organization.
- Establish and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
- Oversee accounting related to development projects, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Support executive leadership with financial insights, reporting, and operational decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the accounting team as the firm continues to grow.
