Job Summary
One of the UK's most respected developers is looking to hire a Sustainability Manager. The role reports into the Director of Sustainability who in turn, reports to the board of investors. The investors are very much bought in and have assigned generous budgets to achieve the company's sustainability objectives.The role is appealingly wide ranging and encompasses the pathway to net-zero, biodiversity, utilities and waste, and the performance of existing and new buildings and extensive public realm within the portfolio.
There is an established network of external environmental, engineering and architecture consultants in place. The Sustainability Manager leads the strategy and oversight and will brief, challenge, and guide the external groups.
