Rural Practice

This is the only area of work falling under the General Practice heading to have its own specialist faculty within the RICS. Rural practitioners are required to have undertaken a specialist degree prior to undertaking the APC. These include a diverse range of skills from agricultural law, agriculture, diversification, land usage and even architectural / construction drawings. Rural Practice surveyors are responsible for the routine estate management and strategic enhancement of rural investment portfolios or landed estates on behalf of corporate, institutional or private clients.

At Macdonald & company, we have a specialist rural practice consultant from a rural surveying background and therefore we have an inherent knowledge of this specialist market.
