Position Overview:
As a Real Estate Investment Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting their investment management team in evaluating and executing real estate investment opportunities. You will be responsible for conducting thorough market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to identify and assess potential investments. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including acquisitions, asset management, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market dynamics, and investment opportunities within the real estate sector.
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities, including cash flow projections, ROI calculations, and sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports to communicate investment recommendations to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with acquisitions and asset management teams to conduct due diligence, including property inspections, lease reviews, and financial underwriting.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments, preparing regular reports on key performance indicators, and recommending strategies for optimization.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, market conditions, and economic trends that could impact real estate investment strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience with 2+ years in real estate investment analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry, including market trends, property types, and investment strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, including MS Excel, financial databases, and market research platforms.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Must have English, Cantonese & Mandarin language capability
