Jenny Gardner, Director of Development and Construction, ARC

Accelerating Careers in Real Estate | Episode 73

This evening I wrap up our mini-series of hearing from three leaders in the UK life sciences sector. I am sat with Jenny Gardner, newly appointed Director of Development and Construction for Brookfields life science business ARC. ARC’s portfolio consists of 1.6 million square feet of existing assets and 7 million square feet of development potential across the U.K.’s Golden Triangle and includes Harwell Science and Innovation Campus – a joint venture with the UK Government, alongside wholly owned sites – ARC Oxford, ARC Uxbridge, and ARC West London.

Jenny joined from JLL where she was responsible for life sciences project delivery in London but she hails from the US working with the likes of Unibail and Alexandria Real Estate Equities. She shares a story of a medical student, turned real estate professional, working for the global leader in life science real estate on the West Coast of the US before a junction in her career and life creates an opportunity to bring her significant life science experience to the fledging UK market.
