This evening I sat with Paul Lloyd, CEO of the largest 3rd party loan servicer in Europe, Mount Street Group. Paul has a 30-year career in servicing of European debt products. In 1997, Paul launched Morgan Stanley Mortgage Servicing, then Europe’s first CMBS servicer. During the years that past he ran similar departments for Deutsche Bank’s and CBRE. In 2013, together with Ravi Joseph, Paul founded Mount Street, and has been Global Head of Financial & Business Services since inception prior to becoming CEO of Mount Street Group.
In this episode, Paul shares how he began a career in banking, and how he established himself in some of the largest investment banks in the industry. Before setting up his own company and acquiring his former department from one of these major institutions coming full circle.
