Job Summary
Our Pan - European Investment Manager & Asset Manager, is actively seeking an associate for Hamburg or Frankfurt to join their growing team in Fund Management.Key day to day responsibilities:
- Participate in the creation of fund- and asset-level business plans, forecasts and cash-flow models.
- Analyze and monitor KPIs and risk metrics of the funds as a whole, but also track and analyze the performance of each asset, e.g. by checking actual results against forecasts and benchmarks.
- Review the valuation reports prepared by the appraisers
- Ensure that all fund activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on fund performance, market conditions, and investment outlook to internal and external stakeholders, including investors and fund boards. Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and the investor board meetings.
- Experience with financial software and proficiency in Excel (optimally including PowerPivot, PowerBI) would obviously be advantageous. The candidate would also have an important role when we set-up or select a fund & portfolio management tool
Qualifications
- Strong academics, educated at least to degree level, in business, finance, economics or real estate discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in fund, portfolio, controlling, or financial controlling
- Financial / real estate controlling background
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Highly analytically proficient with Microsoft Office
- Academic excellence, strong written and verbal communication
