Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing commercial private equity investment and development firm, are looking to appoint a Senior Vice President of Acquisitions to be based in Phoenix, Arizona. The firm has had direct participation in over $1BN worth of transactions.Position Summary
The SVP of Acquisitions, reporting directly into the CEO, will be the lead "deal person", in charge of sourcing and acquiring new value-add and core+ deals on a national level, as well as maintaining strong relations with existing business. The SVP will have a small team to support them throughout the due diligence phase as they take deals through to closing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and executing high quality acquisition opportunities, driving revenue growth, and new business generation within the multifamily real estate sector.
Role Responsibilities
- Sourcing appropriate acquisition properties nationally.
- Highly skilled in new business generation and the ability to generate relationships through repeat client business.
- Identify and analyze the major risks affecting an investment opportunity.
- Research supply and demand forces in the market.
- Develop detailed and accurate financial models.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as brokers, property owners, and industry professionals to source high-quality acquisition opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience Required
- 10-15 years of real estate acquisitions experience within multifamily.
- Value-add and/or core experience.
- Strong financial skillset.Â
