We were excited to sit down with Mark Castle, just as the news were buzzing about him stepping down from Mace Construction as their COO. Mark joined Mace in 2005 to set up Mace’s fixed price construction business. With over 35 years’ experience, Mark has managed the UK and USA based organisations. He and Gareth Lewis have built the construction business to a £1.7bn turnover business from just £100m when Mark started.
He is humble and incredibly calm and collected over one of the biggest success stories in our industry. Whether we get our hands dirty, wear steel capped boots or not, this is a story about looking for how we can do better – a real inspiration to anyone’s career.
