An established international real estate investment and operating platform is seeking an Associate to join its Portfolio Management team in Düsseldorf. The business has a long-standing global track record and manages a diversified commercial real estate portfolio across multiple asset classes.
With an integrated operating model covering investment, development, leasing, and property management, the platform offers broad exposure across the full asset lifecycle and a highly entrepreneurial working environment.
The German business is currently in a growth phase following recent acquisitions and continued capital deployment activity, offering strong long-term development opportunities for ambitious real estate professionals.
The Opportunity
This role sits within the strategic portfolio management function and focuses on performance optimisation, value creation, and cross-functional coordination across a commercial real estate portfolio in Germany.
The position combines financial analysis, strategic asset oversight, and stakeholder management, working closely with both local and international teams.
This is not a pure leasing or operational property management role. Instead, the focus is on portfolio performance, business planning, financial analysis, and strategic coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and implement portfolio and asset strategies to drive value creation and optimise returns
- Monitor operational and financial performance across the portfolio
- Conduct financial modelling, valuations, scenario analysis, and KPI tracking
- Coordinate with internal and external property managers and service providers
- Work closely with leasing, development, finance, and investment teams
- Prepare presentations, reporting materials, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and investors
- Assist in identifying growth opportunities and risk mitigation strategies across the portfolio
Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
- Experience with valuations, business planning, and performance analysis
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Exposure to multiple stakeholders including investors, advisors, and operational teams
- Commercial real estate experience preferred
- Fluent German and English language skills
