Job Summary
Our client, a well-capitalized multifamily developer, are looking to appoint a Financial Analyst to their Phoenix team. Reporting directly into the CEO, this person will be supporting the acquisitions and development teams and will eventually grow into an Acquisitions Associate.About the Firm:
A vertically integrated multifamily developer holding a strong presence throughout the Southwest region, having over $550M multifamily units developed ground-up over the last decade.
About the Role:
- Primary responsibility will be assisting in the underwriting of potential Multifamily development opportunities with an Excel based model.
- Prepare presentation materials for Investment Committee meetings.
- Creation of ad-hoc analytical models for the purpose of evaluating possible refinances and sales of current/future projects.
- Perform financial analysis of acquisitions and development opportunities via financial modeling, analysis of cash flows, and application of valuation methods.
- Ensure that objectives and timelines are met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports as needed.
- Support due diligence effort and closing.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or other related field.
- STRONG excel experience is a must.
- Experience putting together presentation decks for investment committees.
- 2-5 years of Multifamily experience required.
- Advanced understanding of financial concepts (DCF, ROI, IRR, NPV, Cap Rate, etc.) and factors affecting these metrics.
- Self-starter attitude.
- Comfortable with being fully in-office in Phoenix.
