A well-established property investment group with more than five decades of experience is seeking a Retail General Manager for a strong-performing shopping centre in Middelburg, Mpumalanga.
This role suits an experienced retail or property professional who enjoys being close to the asset. With leasing and financial functions handled off-site, your focus will be on the day-to-day operation of the centre: maintaining standards, leading on-site teams and service providers, and managing relationships with tenants, shoppers, contractors and key stakeholders. Applicants with a background as an area or regional manager for a retailer are encouraged to apply.
To succeed, you will bring 5–8 years’ relevant experience within retail or property, along with a proven ability to lead teams and manage operational complexity in a live retail environment. A strong local presence in Middelburg, Emalahleni or the surrounding areas is important, as this is a hands-on role.
