The finance function plays a central role in enabling strategic decision-making - to this end, they are seeking a suitably experienced Group Financial Accountant, based at their Pretoria office.
The Group Financial Accountant will take responsibility for consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance at a group level. This role involves preparing consolidated monthly management reports, supporting annual financial statement preparation, reviewing statutory submissions, and managing intercompany balances and reconciliations. The successful individual will assist with budgeting and forecasting consolidation, group-level variance analysis, and statutory compliance including tax and VAT oversight. You will also contribute to strengthening financial controls, supporting audits, driving process improvements, and assisting with system and reporting enhancements across the group.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Accounting degree (essential) and be registered with a recognised professional body (preferred), with at least five years of experience working in a multi-entity group environment. Afrikaans language proficiency is non-negotiable, and exposure to property management systems - particularly MRI - will be highly advantageous.
