Job Summary
Are you an experienced Senior Planner or Associate Director of Planning, looking to continue your career with a multi-disciplinary group? Do you want to have management duties and responsibility for the growth of the East Midlands region of the business? A leading group is looking for candidates like you to join their busy Nottingham office.As a newly appointed Director of Planning and alongside a team of Senior Directors, you will be leading junior colleagues and growing the London Planning team whilst contributing to the strategic growth of the group through your knowledge of the industry and ability to spot opportunities. You will be responsible for developing the London client base through your own network and the internal clients already linked with the group. The office will grow further depending on your success, but you will be supported by an established team of Planners across several levels.
You will have a proven track record of working on complex planning applications with a solid understanding of the UK planning system. Local knowledge and contacts would be favoured but national contacts will also help you in the role. The ideal individual will be self-assured, have outstanding communication skills and be comfortable building new relationships and acting in an outward facing role.
The existing client base is made up of housebuilders, landowners, public sector organisations and local developers. Any new niche areas that you can add to the client base would certainly be of interest.
The successful individual will be rewarded with a great salary up to £70,000 and remuneration package, a key role in the wider group and outstanding prospects for career progression as you grow and develop in the role.
