Are you feeling increasingly frustrated with the amount of red tape and hoops you have to jump through to get things done? Wish there was a better way of working as a Building Surveyor and delivering the work you are good at and employed for, rather than getting through reams of admin for admins' sake?This independent Building Consultancy based in South Manchester is growing, and looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their small and friendly team. Bringing consultancy experience with you, you'd be working across a range of commercial sectors including industrial, retail, office etc, carrying out project management as well as the more traditional building surveys.
There's plenty of work in the pipeline so bringing clients and work isn't expected or needed, instead you'd be delivering the work already on the books as well as making sure the existing client base is taken care of.
The team of 8-10 or so are well settled, though you'd probably be helping mentor some of the more junior members of staff - so being in the office regularly would be very important. And there's even the opportunity of Equity in the company further down the line for the right person.
