Position Summary:
Macdonald & Co. is exclusively partnered with a reputable integrated real estate investment development firm in Atlanta to appoint an ‘Asset Manager’ to oversee their multifamily portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive asset management strategies for the multifamily property portfolio.
  • Monitor and assess property performance, covering financial metrics, occupancy rates, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify improvement areas and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform financial analysis, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize property performance.
  • Generate regular financial reports and presentations for senior management, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks for informed decision-making.
  • Participate in evaluating potential refinancing and recapitalization opportunities for the assigned portfolio.
  • Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis for refinancing and restructuring initiatives.
  • Manage escrow analysis for replacement and tax reserves.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the value and performance of multifamily properties.
  • Oversee property improvement projects, renovations, and capital expenditure initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage property-level operational and capital budgets effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the multifamily property portfolio.
  • Implement risk management strategies, including insurance coverage, lease agreements, and legal compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in asset management and property operations.

 
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of asset management experience, preferably in the multifamily property sector.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Proficiency in Real Page software and financial modeling tools.
  • Exceptional knowledge of real estate market trends and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement asset management strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
