Job Summary

The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of a reputable property group in Hong Kong. The COO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other members of the leadership team to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the organization, responsible for Finance, HR and Admin, Legal and IT. The COO will play a key role in shaping, implementing, and optimizing operational capabilities and efficiencies, and promoting the growth and development of the company.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Operations: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth functioning across all departments
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and other leaders to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with various stakeholders internally and externally, including government officials, investors, consultants, suppliers, clients, bankers, and lawyers, to ensure smooth collaboration and successful project outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of operations and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior executive role overseeing business operations in HK. 
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop and implement business strategies.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management principles and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English.
