Job Summary
Our client is a flexible living platform that is looking to hire an Associate in London due to significant growth plans across sites with a strong deal / development pipeline.Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the sourcing, analysing, underwriting and execution of flexible-Living development opportunities.
- Managing the capital stack and raising 3rd party debt and JV equity.
- Initial Investment / Development Appraisal .
- Undertake feasibility Studies.
- Full cashflow modelling & underwriting of deals.
- Updating models throughout lifecycle of the deal.
- Preparation of internal IC Memos.
- Preparation of external Investment Memos to include Pitch Books for debt and equity partners.
- Reviewing SPAs and scheduling milestones.
- Reviewing Loan Docs.
- Assisting in all financings (investment and development).
- Assisting in raising 3rd party JV equity
Background
- Minimum of 3 years real estate investment and financing experience.
- Proven UK Real Estate track deal execution record.
- Those with Living sector experience (BTR, Co-living, PBSA etc) will be at an advantage.
- Ideally someone from a transactions team within a real estate investor, asset manager or investment manager or at a Sell Side Advisory Firm .
- Advanced experience and ability with Excel Financial Modelling - building and modifying models.
- Experience preparing IC materials.
- Strong written presentational experience is required.
- Experience working on multiple projects with varied timelines.
