Job Summary
The Multifamily Development Analyst performs complex investment due diligence and analysis. This involves assisting the Endeavor Multifamily division from initial site analysis and underwriting through project capitalization, construction, lease-up, and project disposition. This position will report directly to Endeavor’s Multifamily Principals and work closely with all members of Endeavor’s Multifamily division.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis of ground-up multifamily development and mixed-use projects that contain various real estate components (multifamily, retail, office, etc.)
- Support in the site due diligence and underwriting analysis process. Gather, compile, investigate, and analyze market data to identify potential investment and development opportunities.
- Assist in the debt and equity raising process (assemble packages, research market data, manage lender and investor correspondence, )
- Support in all multifamily transaction processes (purchases, sales, construction loan closings, etc.)
- Prepare presentation materials for Investment Committee, investor presentations, and other
- Analyze financial and economic information from various sources to forecast business, industry, and economic
- Value existing real estate assets based on analyzing historical operating and financial performance.
- Assist in corporate accounting and legal efforts related to new multifamily pursuits and existing operating properties.
- Update various asset management schedules, portfolio-level reports, and other investor or corporate
- Assist in corporate and non-role-specific functions as needed with a “team player” mentality.
- Understand mathematical concepts including net present value (“NPV”), levered and unlevered internal rate of return (“IRR”), cash on cash return, yield on cost (“YOC”), and all basic concepts associated with real estate
- Extensive experience in financial modeling in Excel and the review of financial statements related to multifamily
- Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete
- Superior Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills required
- Proficient Adobe Suite skills suggested
- Self-starter who thrives in entrepreneurial environments

- Deadline driven and able to prioritize

- Excellent writing and editing skills
- 2+ years of financial analysis experience in a multifamily, development or private equity company with multifamily focus preferred
- BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
