Job Summary
We are currently supporting our client, an investment focused business who have a requirement for a senior level candidate to join their existing in house team.- The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of delivering volume build residential housing projects from pre-construction to completion and handover.
- Have a keen eye for detail to ensure projects meet the correct specifications, planning regulations and building standards.
- Motivational leadership style and ability to build a team of high performing construction professionals.
- Strong contract management skills and an expert in moving seamlessly through the snagging and defects period to timely resolution and close.
- Ability to support the business unit lead with strategic growth.
- Ideally (but not essential) degree educated in a relevant construction related subject.
- Experience of working for a UK residential developer or housebuilder.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, quality control processes and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Commercially strong, financial acumen and cost control ability is essential.
