The Role
The company seeks to hire an Acquisitions Director or Manager proficient in sourcing, evaluating, and finalizing Multifamily value-add and ground-up deals. This recruitment effort aligns with their growth strategy aimed at doubling their assets under management (AUM) within the next two years.
Core responsibilities include:
- Initiate proactive networking with brokers, owners, and developers to pinpoint potential acquisition prospects.
- Drive due diligence initiatives, including financial scrutiny, market analysis, and legal evaluations.
- Execute thorough cash flow modeling and valuation appraisals.
- Manage fundraising endeavors for acquisition ventures.
- Negotiate purchase contracts and financing conditions.
- Forge strong collaborations with internal departments to ensure smooth transactional processes.
- Maintain awareness of market dynamics and competitor movements through continuous research.
- Craft investment memoranda and reports for presentation to investment committees.
