Job Summary
We're working with a rapidly growing and marketing leading property company who are looking to appoint an experienced Development Surveyor in to their established team. Reporting directly to the Property Director, the Senior Development Surveyor will be responsible for identifying development opportunities, progressing sites through planning and have an overarching responsibility for site delivery from inception to completion. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Development Surveyor located in North London. The Senior Development Surveyor will be responsible for delivering development appraisals, securing planning permission, and managing development projects from inception to completion. The Senior Development Surveyor will also work closely with the finance, design and construction teams to identify and manage property investment opportunities. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in real estate, construction management, or a related field
- Chartered surveyor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in development and planning and construction management
- Demonstrated experience in managing development projects of varying size and complexity, and delivering successful outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of the UK property market and real estate development
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and influence key decision-makers
- Self-starter with a track record of delivering results under pressure and to tight deadlines
