Job Summary
This role is responsible for the sale of Data Centre solutions to a variety of customers mainly in APAC with a particular focus on Japan; Developing and executing sales strategies, sourcing sales leads, building relationships with customers, and closing deals. Our client is a well funded DC developer/opertaor covering APAC.Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Japan wholesale colocation and built-to-suit data center solutions.
- Identify prospective customers in industries and build customers’ relationship.
- Present and promote Data Centre solutions to clients, understanding their unique requirements and develop sales proposal accordingly.
- Work closely with commercial team to develop and negotiate commercial terms.
- Close deals and generate revenue.
- Monitor and track sales performance with regular internal update and reporting.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in Japan datacentre market.
- Develop and deliver training to sales representatives from resellers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- At least 7+ years of experience in a sales role, with a focus on colocation data center sales.
- Strong understanding of the Japan wholesale colocation datacentre market.
- Understanding in Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing equipment for datacentre is preferred.
